NFL Monday Night: Football Preview And Betting Odds

The Vikings and the Seahawks battle in Seattle tonight to end Week 13, live at 1:15 GMT.
Two of the best teams in the NFL go head-to-head tonight to end Week 13 with a bang. The Vikings, 8-3, and currently in second place in the NFC North, are on a two-game win streak and look like a very strong candidate for the playoffs. This could be their most important road victory of the last four years, but, in order to do so, they will need to surmount Russell Wilson, an MVP candidate that has an incredible depth of receivers this season.
If you recall last season, the Vikings were crushed in the Monday night game at Century Link Field and fired their offensive coordinator the next day. This season is a lot different. Kirk Cousins has turned around a slow start to the year, now posting major numbers and leading his offense with a ton of gusto.
The odds are stacked against a Vikings win. Not only the online betting odds but the statistics regarding Central or Eastern time zone-based teams playing in the Pacific zone. Teams in this situation are 18-38.
Wilson and Cousins are no strangers. In College, Cousins with Michigan State and Wilson at Wisconsin split wins against each other while in the Big Ten. They do have a very big rivalry this year too. Cousins took the NFL's top QB rating into Week 13, while Wilson is in second.
The Vikings may need to play without Adam Thielen as he is questionable with a hamstring injury.
