New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers live tonight at 1:15 GMT to wrap up Week 15.
To end yet another wild week of NFL regular season action, we go to New Orleans for a big NFC South matchup between the Saints and the Panthers. The Saints and Panthers are currently in first and second spot in the division, but the Saints have control at 11-2, while the Panthers are 6-7 and are on a five-game losing streak. The Saints have really taken their season and are driving a course to the playoffs.
The Saints are in good shape to take the conference with the Rams losing some key games over the last weeks. If the Panthers want to get back into the race for a wildcard spot they need to win tonight, easier said than done. New Orleans is the big favorites tonight with bet365 Sports posting odds in their favor at 1.37 on the Money Line. The Panthers are at 3.20, but the Saints' home advantage will definitely make things a lot worse.
The Saints are running the ball well averaging 125 yards per game. The Saints' running backs, Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram have 1,300 yards between them this year and an incredible 16 touchdowns. Drew Brees is a machine this year finding the likes of Michael Thomas (1,218 receiving yards), Tre'Quan Smith, and the rest of his lethal receivers. Brees has thrown for 3,463 yards and 31 touchdowns already this year, yet another MVP-caliber performance.
Prediction
The Saints have come too far to lose tonight's game. Take New Orleans and take them big with an expected result of 34-17. The Panthers are losing this year, and they will continue to do so if they cannot work out the major issues they have on both sides of the ball.
Don't miss out on tonight's grand finale to Week 15 and watch as the "Saints come marching in."
