A battle in the AFC East pits the Buffalo Bills vs the New York Jets live at 1:25 GMT.
Tonight’s game will be a die-hard battle in the AFC East. The Buffalo Bills make a short trip over to East Rutherford, NJ to face their division-mates the New York Jets. Not surprisingly, Bills’ Head Coach Rex Ryan has been anxiously awaiting this moment. Last year, Ryan was the head coach of the Jets, now he is the head coach of the Bills and the jury is out on whether or not he will receive a warm welcome. Jets’ new Coach Todd Bowles is ready to show that he is the better coach on the field and a win by the home team would all but seal the deal.
The Jets needed a win last week in order to stay in the chase of a place in the playoffs, no matter how far off and they came through beating the Jaguars 28-23. The Bills were equally as good last Sunday crushing the Miami Dolphins 33-17.
The Jets could be without some key players, out with various injuries. There is a chance that cornerback Antonio Cromartie will not play, as well as right guard Willie Colon, safety Calvin Pryor and second string running back Bilal Powell. Kicker Nick Folk is also out for the rest of the season, but they will have wide out’s Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker.
Last season the Bills hammered the Jets in both of the games that they faced one another by a combined score of 81-26. The Jets are looking to get revenge tonight and it could be a possibility if they can strengthen their pass and run game.
