This week kicks off with a great match-up between the 4-1 Eagles and the 4-1 Panthers. Both teams come into tonight with even records, atop the NFC East and NFC South respectively, but after tonight we will better understand which is the better bet. The action will be broadcast live from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte and it will be a great battle to watch.
Cam Newton finally looks like he is back to his 2015, MVP-self. He has 8 TDs and 1,237 yards and is in much better shape following his preseason shoulder surgery. Carson Wentz, though, has been terrific for the Eagles with 10 TDs, on 1,362 yards. The Eagles dominate the Panthers in their rush game. The Eagles average 138.8 per game, while the Panthers are below the 100 yards-per-game average at 98.
Carolina has just beat the Lions last week and the Patriots the week before. Cam Newton is definitely back and playing a head-to-head game against another 4-1 team will be their biggest test so far this year. The good thing is that Newton is on 48 of 62 passing with 671 yards and seven touchdowns in his last two games against the aforementioned. He is playing like a real MVP and is averaging 10.9 yards per attempt during that time.

This is a very hard game to predict, as both teams bring such strong points in their over favor. What is likely to happen is a lead by the Panthers, a comeback by the Eagles, but ultimately the Panthers win at home. A good score to consider in this one would be 30-24 for the Panthers.
bet365 Sports has posted odds ahead of the game in favor of the Panthers at 1.55. The Eagles are just a bit behind at 2.60, but it should make for a great game.
