NFL Thursday Night Football: Packers vs BearsPublished September 28, 2017 by Sol FH
The Green Bay Packers host their rivals the Chicago Bears tonight to kick off Week 4 at 1:25 GMT.
We are already starting Week 4 in this year's NFL Regular season and what a start to the season it has been. There are only two teams left with lossless records, the Chiefs, and the Falcons, and it looks like this year could be any team's to take. Tonight, however, we focus on one of the oldest NFC North rivalries in the NFL with the Packers taking on the Bears.
The Packers are 2-1 so far this year and are coming off of an overtime win against the Bengals last week, following a loss in Week 2 against the Falcons. The Bears won their first game of the season last week against the Steelers, which was also due to some overtime heroics, so tonight's game should be action-packed.
Led by Aaron Rodgers, the Packers offense looks decent, except for the fact that their rush game was ineffective last week. Rodgers was sacked six times against the Bengals, but Geronimo Allison was the shining star with six catches for 122 yards. Jordy Nelson was also in the plus, with two touchdown catches. Hopefully, the Packers will see more of Randall Cobb as he is healthy and should be rotated back into his regular role for tonight.
For the Bears, safety Quintin Demps is out for tonight after hurting his forearm last week and he did not practice this week. Linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski is doubtful, as are center Hroniss Grasu and guard Josh Sitton.
There is a lot of drama going around the NFL these days with the whole player's taking a knee during the National Anthem. Tonight, there will be a lot of eyes on what the player's do tonight both prior to the game and during the 4 quarters of action, but one thing is for sure, it should be an exciting kick-off to Week 4.
