NHL Live Betting: Bruins vs CanadiensPublished January 19, 2016 by Sol FH
The Boston Bruins travel to Bell Centre to take on the struggling Montreal Canadiens live at 00:35 GMT.
The Montreal Canadiens have hit a rough patch over the last five games, losing four straight ahead of tonight's age-old rivalry against the Boston Bruins. The Habs have beaten the Bruins in three of the last four games against them, including a major win 5-1 in the 2016 Bridgestone Winter Classic on January 1. Montreal was on top of the Atlantic Division for most of this season, but now find themselves in fifth place, 1 point behind Boston and 7 points off the division lead.
Some good news for the Bruins ahead of the game, their Center Devid Krejci was back at practice on Sunday for the first time since he hurt his upper-body on December 27, but he is unlikely to play against the Canadiens. "I need to feel 100 percent skating and 100 percent shooting. I'm getting there, but it was a good day today," Krejci related. The Bruins are coming off much-needed back to back wins against the Sabres and the Maple Leafs on Friday and Saturday respectively.
The Canadiens decided to take a break from practicing on Monday following back to back road losses in overtime against the Blues and the Blackhawks. They need time to rest their players and are suffering even more with star goalie Carey Price out with a bad injury to his lower body. Without Price the Canadiens have the worst record since December 1at 5-15-1, but the team is confident that they will get back in their winning groove and make the playoffs this season.
