The Penguins and the Sharks continue their quest to raise the Stanley Cup with the series at 2-1 in favor of the Penguins. Pittsburgh has been dominating play so far, but an overtime goal in game 3 gave the Sharks their first ever win in a Stanley Cup Final.
The Penguins have come out with guns blazing in their series so far. Led by amazing performances by Sidney Crosby, the Penguins have been able to get early goals, which led them to victory in both Games 1 and 2. The Sharks have started their efforts a bit later in the games, but are keeping the goals tight. Game 4 tonight will be crucial for both teams, but for San Jose especially, as coming back from 3-1 is no easy task.
"I think both teams are going to raise their level next game," Sharks coach Peter DeBoer related. "It's a critical game. It's one of those crossroad type games. "I think it should be the best game of the series. Every game's gotten a little better. I think the next one will be the best one so far."
The Sharks will be happy to be at home for Game 4, but they are still being way out-shot by the Penguins. Pittsburgh seems like they are the better team, but somehow the Sharks are still in it. The odds are slightly in favor of the Sharks tonight, but that could be the best chance for punters to make a smart bet on the Penguins and win some cash.
