Novomatic Buys Dutch Casino Games DevelopersPublished June 15, 2013 by OCR Editor
Austrian land-based and online gambling software developer expands with latest acquisitions.
Novomatic subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries has completed a deal to acquire two Dutch gambling machine manufacturers and developers - JVH Exploitatie and JVH Gaming Products.
Under the deal, JVH products will be integrated into Novomatic's portfolio in the German market, where Novomatic already has a major market share through two existing subsidiaries. Exploitatie's gaming machines, which are already found around Dutch pubs, are being brought into Germany immediately.
According to Novomatic's Hannes Reichmann, this latest deal continues the firm's strategic and dual acquisitions program. He said its own group brands, AGI, Astra and Bell-Fruit, are already market leaders in digital gaming, and JVH products will complement this growing portfolio - especially in Germany.
Novomatic has made big progress in the online gambling arena in recent years through partner casinos such as the Quasar Gaming Casino - where its platform is the same as the one with high definition graphics that has been certified by regulators for use in real-land-based casinos.
Quasar Casino brings you all the best of Novomatic in an online gambling experience you can enjoy from your own home. Their platform includes many top slots plus a range of table games including Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Sic Bo. This should eventually expand following these latest acquisitions.
