Austrian land-based and online gambling software developer expands with latest acquisitions.
Novomatic subsidiary Austrian Gaming Industries has completed a deal to acquire two Dutch gambling machine manufacturers and developers - JVH Exploitatie and JVH Gaming Products.
European Expansion
Under the deal, JVH products will be integrated into Novomatic's portfolio in the German market, where Novomatic already has a major market share through two existing subsidiaries. Exploitatie's gaming machines, which are already found around Dutch pubs, are being brought into Germany immediately.
According to Novomatic's Hannes Reichmann, this latest deal continues the firm's strategic and dual acquisitions program. He said its own group brands, AGI, Astra and Bell-Fruit, are already market leaders in digital gaming, and JVH products will complement this growing portfolio - especially in Germany.
