Figures from the London International Casino Affiliates Exhibition in January have proved again just how popular the event is. New attendance records of over 9700 visitors were set, representing an 8.8 percent increase from last year.
102 gambling jurisdictions were also present at the Exhibition, encouraging higher numbers of international affiliates.
The biggest growth in affiliate programs at the Exhibition were in Asia and Europe. This was welcome news to operators looking for new markets in an attempt to decrease dependence on revenue made from North American affiliate programs. Vietnam and the British Indian Ocean Territories made their first appearances at the Exhibition in style, while overseas fans increased their attendance by 12.7 percent. The number of British visitors to the show this year increased by 4.8 percent to 4,020.
Organizers of the affiliate event are confident that the good will and strong commercial interaction fostered at the Exhibition will remain alive for 2007. Next year's event is scheduled to take place at the Earls Court Exhibition Center in London between the 23rd and the 25th of January. A strong turnout of operators, software providers and affiliates is expected, with organizers hoping to capitalize on the success of this year's event and boost 2007 attendance even further.
