eGaming Review announces winners of B2B awards.
eGaming Review this week held its annual eGaming Review B2B Awards at Wembley Stadium, and online gaming software giant Playtech took home three prizes to be among the night's big winners.
Playtech Wins Three PrizesPlaytech stamped its position as one of the world's leading software providers, by taking home the most prizes on the night. Playtech won trophies for best bingo network, slot provider and poker network. To cap it all of, Mobenga, which was acquired by Playtech in 2011, was awarded mobile supplier of the year.
Playtech is big because it has a stable of hundreds of online casino licensees, the largest bingo and poker networks in the world, and a variety of other networks including Asian games, progressive jackpots and sports betting. It is known for leading gambling technology innovation, by constantly introducing new products such as live and 3D gaming before its competitors.
Sporting Solutions and Initial Rewards EarmarkedTwo British companies - sports betting software and data services company Sporting Solutions, and promotional merchandise and loyalty rewards program innovator Initial Rewards - were recognized by the judges with rising star trophies. Sporting Solutions also won the prize for innovation in sports betting software.
Sporting Solutions, the B2B arms of Sporting Index, launched its cloud-based trading platform Cloud Calculation Engines this year. It has made its name as a pioneer of in-play betting, with a mission to reduce operating costs, increase revenues from a greater range of sports and markets and improve margins.
Initial Rewards is a relative newcomer to online gambling, but with a group of veteran industry experts behind it. It has now the largest dedicated supplier in its field outside of North America, providing a one-stop shop for promotional merchandise and loyalty reward programs for the online gaming industry.
GTECH G2, NetEnt among other winnersGTECH G2 continued its recent run of good form, winning the awards for best bingo and lottery supplier, while Net Entertainment was another big-name company to make a strong showing by winning the awards for innovation in slot provision and innovation in Random Number Generator (RNG) Casino.
In the payment methods field, UKash was honoured as the best company of the year, while OpenMarket won the award for best mobile payment solution. Playtech rival Microgaming picked up the gong for RNG casino supplier of the year, while live casino supplier of the year went to rising star Evolution Gaming. Other awards included: Dragonfish for poker software of the year, OpenBet for sports betting supplier of the year, and NextGen Gaming for the social gaming supplier of the year.
