PAF Accredited by eCOGRA

After a close inspection by eCOGRA specialists, PAF received eCOGRA Safe and Fair seal and Certified Software Seal.

The Finnish online gambling group PAF has been certified by eCOGRA after its auditors visited PAF bases in Helsinki and Mariehamn, putting their operations and software under the microscope. PAF was given eCOGRA's Safe and Fair Sealand Certified Software Seal.

eCOGRA manager Louise Chunnett, who headed the inspection, seemed very impressed with PAF. In her after report she wrote: "Based on our on-site review of the operations and software suppliers, we are satisfied that this company's responsible gambling policies and procedures, and the culture throughout the organisation is of the highest standard, comparing favourably with measures in top industry companies we have inspected in the past". Chunnett added that PAF set unique industry standards with its commitment to responsible gaming.

Complying With eGAP

The seals given by eCOGRA signify that the inspected companies stand with all international standards, complying with the eGAP requirements (Generally Accepted Practices). These requirements cover the fields of safety, fairness and software. Inspected fields include player protection, responsible operator behavior and fairness.

A sigh of relief was heard in PAF as the results of the inspection came, although these show they had nothing to worry about. Taneli Holtta, a senior manager at PAF, commented: "Passing such an all-embracing and in-depth evaluation as that leading to an eCOGRA Safe and Fair accreditation was something we all worked hard to achieve, so it is very satisfying in both a business and professional sense.". Holtta also commended the professionalism displayed by the eCOGRA team during the inspection.
