Plans Coming Together for Russian Gaming Week 2015

The final stages of planning for Russian Gaming Week will be completed in the next couple of months ahead of the event itself, which is scheduled for Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 June 2015. Alongside the main conference, there will also be a special awards ceremony.

Attendees of the conference will be eager to learn more about Russia’s new gambling zones in Crimea and Sochi. Additionally, they will also learn of the land-based casinos being constructed in the zones of Siberian Coin and Yantarnaya. The zones of Azov-City and Primorye will also be discussed.

Gambling industry professionals and representatives from throughout Russia and the rest of Europe will be in attendance at Russian Gaming Week 2015. Along with giving coverage to land-based casino operators, there will also be a strong focus on online gambling. This is notable due to the recent legalisation of online gambling in the country.

Betting Awards 2015 Also Scheduled

The Betting Awards will also be an integral event as part of the wider Russian Gaming Week conference. The simple intention of the awards will be to recognise the industry contributions of successful operators, payment providers, industry professionals, and media members.

A total of 10 categories have been planned for the awards, giving nominees a chance to take home an award after the conference. Some of the award-winners will be determined by Russian customers who have voted on the quality of the online gambling services that they have experienced. Professional users will then be called upon for some of the specialist categories. Experienced journalists will also be invited to vote on key categories for the awards.

From the 10+ award categories, we expect Best Network and Best Bookmaker to be the most hotly contested. Recognition will also be given to honour products, mobile apps, innovation, advertising, social media, affiliate networks, payment systems, and much more.
