Playtech wins four awards in annual online gambling awards night.
Playtech and Microgaming are rivals in every sense of the word, and last week the latter edged out the former 4-3 for the number of titles collected in EGR's annual B2B Awards.
Software Awards
Playtech was recognized in four separate categories, winning the awards for Slots Provider of the Year, Poker Network of the Year, Bingo Supplier of the Year and Bingo Network of the Year. This gave it the honor of winning the most awards on one of online gambling biggest award nights.
Microgaming picked up awards for Poker Software of the Year, Innovation in RNG Casino Software and Innovation in Bingo and was recognized as a top live casino supplier. Net Entertainment was awarded for Innovation in Mobile, Innovation in Slot Provision, Mobile Supplier of the Year and won special commendation as a slots provider.
Other Companies Recognized
Skrill showed that it has gone from strength to strength since changing its brand name from Moneybookers a couple of years ago, scooping the payment provider awards with two gongs for Payments Company of the Year and Mobile Payment Solution of the Year.
The audience was also given a preview of which companies to look out for in the future, with Quickspin named Rising Software Star of the Year and Enteraction given the honor of being Rising Services Star of the Year.
