It is now official: Playtech Limited is the winner of this year's prestigious International Company of the Year at the 2010 AIM Awards.
The awards, which took place in London last week, recognizes all-round excellence and this particular prize rewarded Playtech's strong growth as an international business, operating in many countries around the world.
Playtech beat AIM-listed companies such as African Minerals Ltd, Hutchison China Meditech Ltd and Petra Diamonds Ltd to the post to win this year's award.
The selection committee was made up of noted individuals with a proven flair for business and included the likes of PwC chairman David Snell, Zeus Capital's Ross Andrews, Charles Stanley Securities' Peter Ashworth and the Financial Times' David Blackwell just to name a select few.Playtech in 2010
The panel considered the period from 1 August 2009 to 31 July 2010 and during this time Playtech's market capitalization grew to over £1 billion.
