Playtech Now World Lottery Association Member

The World Lottery Association approves Playtech as an Associate Member.

The leading gambling software provider in the industry, Playtech, has just expanded its empire ever further with recent approval to join the World Lottery Association (WLA) as an Associate Member.

The WLA is the global professional association for State lottery and gaming organization and currently has members from over 76 countries, generating more than US$180 billion in revenue. Members of the WLA are expected to adhere to the strictest standards of accountability, responsible gaming, security and risk management.

Approval from the WLA is recognition of Playtech's position as a provider of online platforms for private and State-owned lottery operators in regulated markets worldwide. WLA membership brings Playtech the opportunity to enter new markets previously unavailable to it and to participate in the development of best practice standards for lotteries in regulated markets on a global basis.

Mor Weizer, Chief Executive at Playtech, remarked, that "[we are very proud to have been approved as an Associate Member of the WLA. It reflects our strong focus and experience in regulated gambling markets, not least our work with the various lotteries which are leading operators and members of the WLA. We look forward to contributing to the Association's development in the future."
