Playtech to List on LSE Main Market

Playtech, one of the world's largest developers of online casino software, confirmed this week that it expects to begin trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market in two weeks - on Monday July 2.

Playtech said in a statement that it intends to apply to have its ordinary shares listed on the premium segment of the UK Listing Authority's Official List, and gain admission to trade on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities. Acceptance is subject to approval from the UKLA and LSE.

The company believed that the official list is the most appropriate platform for it to continue expanding its profile, a Playtech official said. He added that this would assist in the liquidity of the company's shares and also provide a greater range of potential investors for the company.
