Playtech's Platform of the Year Trophy Highlights the eGR B2B Awards

Software supplier Playtech captured the Platform of the Year Trophy to lead an inspiring night of recognition and celebration at eGaming Review's B2B Awards at the Tower of London's lavish Pavillion.

Neat Net Hat Trick

The Israeli company also took home the Poker Network of the Year. Sharing the spotlight was Net Entertainment's hat trick of trophies for respectively RNG Casino Supplier, Mobile Supplier and Slots Provider, with further recognition for its live casino services.

Top Net exec Per Eriksson expressed pride at the progress of Net Entertainment's core competencies embodied within the recognition, and was particularly pleased with one win: “To win mobile supplier of the year two years in a row feels extra special,” said the Net Entertainment CEO.

Evolution Evolving Well

A veritable dynasty was extended in the Live Casino Supplier category as Evolution Gaming claimed the award for a staggering fifth year in a row.

Evolution UK Managing Director Helen Hedgeland expressed excitement for the casino egaming industry overall, particularly with the appearance of “mobile-led operators enter(ing) the market.”

The Rise of the Mobile-Led

The rise of mobile-led suppliers was reflected for the first time at the awards, as Realistic Games beat out Microgame for the Innovation in Mobile award and also took home the Innovation in Slots trophy.

Amidst the grandeur of the event, and the inspiration of seeing an adapted gaming industry thrive, it was telling to note how mobile-led suppliers are managing to succeed by just focusing on mobile delivery, as opposed to home computer technology.
