Women's League 2011The new season, which begins on February 7, is slightly different from other PokerStars tournaments, in that it is targeted at helping women learn the game while entering with low buy-ins and freerolls.
However, it's partly serious too, with the lure of the PokerStars Women's Live Event package worth $4,000 to be awarded to the winner of both leagues at the end of the year. There are also numerous monthly and yearly cash prizes on offer.
Two tournaments will run each day during the season, with $0.10 buy-in events beginning at 1am and 6pm GMT, and the $1.10 buy-in events beginning at 2am and 7pm GMT.
