PokerStars Online Poker Tournament: Jan. 23-Feb. 2

The PokerStars Turbo Championship of Online Poker is taking place this January, and $15 million in wins is up for grabs!

Poker players, get ready for PokerStars third annual poker tournament, the Turbo Championship of Online Poker (TCOOP), scheduled to take place from January 23 to February 2. There will be over 50 events, and a guaranteed $15 million in wins over the course of the tournament.

Events

The main event will be the $700 NL Hold'em Main Event, scheduled to take place on Feb. 2; there will be a guaranteed $2 million prize pool, and the first place winner will get at least $300,000.

Another highlight of the tournament will be the $2,100 NL Hold'em High Roller event, also scheduled to take place on February 2; there will be a guaranteed $1 million prize pool.

And of course, the opening events are nothing to scoff at either - there will be two features of $27 NL Hold'em and $215 NL Hold'em, which both offer a guaranteed $750,000 prize pool.  

Prizes

Winners will be featured on the TCOOP's Player of the Series Leader Board, and can win the following prizes:


  • 1st: Champion's Trophy + 2015 PCA prize package worth $16,500
  • 2nd: 2014 SCOOP event ticket worth $5,200
  • 3rd-4th: 2014 SCOOP event ticket worth $2,100
  • 5th-10th: 2014 SCOOP Main Event ticket worth $1,050
  • 11th-50th: 2014 SCOOP Main Event ticket worth $109
