Pragmatic has thrust the social role of iGaming into the most positive spotlight in Malta.
Pragmatic Play is making a magnanimous gesture for the holidays.
The Donation
The leading gaming and content supplier has celebrated the strength and resilience of the iGaming market with a €30,000 donation to three of Malta's leading NGOs.
The Recipients
Supporting the most vulnerable in society is Pragmatic's answer to a challenging year for iGaming, with €10,000 each to the St. Jeanne Antide Foundation, Malta Hospice Movement, and Good Shepherd Sisters being Pragmatic's gesture to show faith and hope for the future.
Social Benefits
The contributions will go directly towards family support, palliative care, and domestic violence victims in the pioneering Malta market.
Pragmatic in Malta
Pragmatic Play's major presence in Malta includes a global hub in Sliema, where a diverse multicultural team has established Pragmatic as a dynamic force in the Mediterranean region nation for years to come.
Pragmatic Leader Speaks
Pragmatic Play Malta VP Lena Yasir called 2020 “a difficult year for everyone and we are determined to give something back to the community, in particular those individuals that have been hit hardest in recent times.”
Yasir explained that the organisations receiving the donations were chosen because of their “immeasurable” contributions to society, with Pragmatic “very pleased to be in a position to help them in an even greater period of need.
Pragmatic Re-Commits
Yasir re-affirmed Pragmatic's commitment to Malta's iGaming community, and looked forward to continuing to support the organisations as the causes continue to “assist the nation during these difficult times.”
Outlook
Pragmatic's gesture complements their organisational passion as a leading iGaming content provider, and should increase engagement and inspiration for players associating with the brand.
The charitable component stands to become a more prominent part of iGaming operating culture in coming years, and Pragmatic Play's gesture may well stand out historically as the launch of an era of widespread altruistic initiatives in iGaming as the game becomes safer for all.
