If a gorilla scatter lands, then this causes the multiplier above the reel to increase by 1x. Quite simply, one scatter will cause an increase of 1x on any of the reels. To release the multiplier, the player can attempt to create a winning payline with wild symbols. If a wild symbol lands in the same reel as the multiplier, this will cause it to be released.
