Premier League Betting: A Race For Fourth Place

Leicester and United are in a battle for fourth place with only three matches left. Catch both their matches today at 18:00 GMT and 20:15 GMT, respectively.

Both Leicester and Manchester United are in the hunt for a fourth-place finish in the Premier League. Both teams currently have 59-points and they also both have just 3 matches left to secure the spot. Today is a crucial matchday for both teams. Leicester will be playing Sheffield United, who upset Chelsea 3-0 in their last match, while United plays Crystal Palace.

Leicester vs Sheffield United

The Foxes host the Blades today at 18:00 GMT at King Power Stadium. This is not only a key battle for the home team to hold on to fourth-place in the league, but it is also a key matchup in the race for a spot in European competitions. Leicester is now in fourth place, but only due to goal difference and anything less than a win tonight could threaten their spot.

The Blades are only five points out of the top-four, but they are in a terrific spot to qualify for the Europa League.

Leicester is primed to win tonight's match and will be looking to score multiple goals to try and pull away from United. The Foxes will meet the Red Devils in their shared last match of the season, which will most likely be a battle for fourth place.

Premier League Odds

At bet365 Sports, Leicester leads the odds-race at 1.90, while Sheffield is quite far behind at 4.10, considering they crushed the Blues in their last match. A draw is listed at 3.50.

Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United

To end a night of Premier League action, the Eagles will host the Red Devils at Selhurst Park Stadium at 20:15 GMT. This will be United's penultimate away game of the Premier League season and they will be looking to bounce back after Monday's 2-2 draw with Southampton. United is still looking for a Champions League berth.

To be fair, United should be in third place right now, but they suffered a heartbreaking 96th-minute equalizing goal from Southampton. If the Devils would have held on for the win, they would've been in great shape to qualify for the Champions League.

Palace was looking at the chance to make it to Europe a few weeks ago, but since their 3-0 win over Sheffield United, they have lost five-in-a-row and went down horribly to Aston Villa at the weekend.

Premier League Odds

Manchester United is well ahead in the odds at 1.33, while Crystal Palace needs a prayer answered at 9.75, as listed by 10Bet sportsbook. A draw will earn at 5.30, but, expect a United win.

The odds mentioned in this article were accurate at the bookmakers mentioned, at the time of its writing, Thursday, July 16th at 12:15 GMT.
