Premier League Betting: Manchester United Vs. Southampton

United host Southampton at 20:00 GMT and the Red Devils poised to take over third place in the table.
Manchester United will put its seventeen matches unbeaten streak to the test tonight at 20:00 GMT at Old Trafford, as Southampton comes to town. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be able to break into third place in the league after Chelsea and Leicester both lost their previous matchups and missing out on three incredibly valuable points. United comes into tonight's match with no new injuries to report and Solskjaer should stick to his starting lineup without shaking things up.
The Red Devils crushed Aston Villa 3-0 over the weekend with goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, and Paul Pogba.
If United wins tonight, they could finish in a top 3 position with four matches left in the season. Liverpool was crowned league champions last week.
It has been a wild season for Southampton after starting the year with an inconsistent record and suffering a 9-0 loss to Leicester in late October. They have turned things around and look like a new team, only having lost once in five matches since the restart after the COVID-19 break.
The Saints are full of talent and have quite a few players scoring goals. The Saints' goal leader, Danny Ings has 19, while James Ward-Prowse has 5, and Stuart Armstrong with 4. A new transfer from Birmingham last summer, Che Adams just scored his first goal and looks more comfortable with the Saints.
Southampton has reached the 40-point mark, which will keep them in the Premier League for next season. They may not want to risk injuring players and might be content to switch up their starting lineup.
Premier League Betting
Manchester United is the hottest team in the Premier League right now. They have won 13 of 15 points and with four matches left in the season, and only one match against a top-four team (Leicester) they are almost a sure thing for a top-three finish. There are ample Premier League odds ahead of tonight's match with bet365 Sports posting its odds in favor of United. The Red Devils are listed at 1.28, while the Saints are at 10.00 for the win.
