Premier League End of Season Clash of Titans: Liverpool vs. Chelsea

That is it...Matchday 38 is upon us and although we already know that Leicester made history; most likely the biggest piece of sports history of all time, there are a few huge matchups between the "Super Clubs" that cannot be overlooked. The match of the night is between the Reds and the Blues at Anfield and it should be a great game. Both teams have not had the league season that they had thought, or wanted to have this year, but tonight's game is for bragging rights and they will both be coming to win.

Liverpool is in 8th place on the Premier League table and has gotten more consistent under Jurgen Klopp. The real success of this club has been in the Europa League, in which they qualified for the final where they will play Sevilla for the cup and a chance to make the Champions League next season. As of now, the Reds are not in the Champions League next year and making it back to the biggest European competition is very important to Klopp in his first season at the helm.

Chelsea is just one spot behind Liverpool in 9th place, but there is ten points between them. The Blues did not have the season they wanted at all and have lost what should have been some easy games over the course of the year. They will be looking to make some drastic changes in the offseason and they could be back next year with a revamped squad and new head coach.
