Liverpool is in need of a win tonight if they wish to stay in the top four, even though it will be up to the results of both Manchester teams that really decides their fate. It may look like an easy task for the Reds, being that they destroyed Watford at Anfield on Nov. 6, 6-1, but tonight they are at Vicarage Road and Watford are eyeing a spot closer to the top ten before the year is done. Last season, Liverpool fell to Watford 3-0 in the same venue and Jurgen Klopp certainly will not forget that going into tonight's match.
Watford are seeking to tie a team record this year, as beating Liverpool will establish success in four top-flight matches straight at home. This would be a first for the Hornets since 1986. Better still, if they were to somehow keep a clean sheet tonight it would make it four matches in a row, a first for the club. Unfortunately, their offense has not been scoring enough with only four goals in their last six matches, but with a chance to creep closer to a top ten spot on the table, they will definitely be doing everything they can to win tonight.
The Reds are going for their third consecutive win on the road since October of last year. Last week they were shocked by Crystal Palace, losing 2-0. Against teams in the bottom half of the table, Liverpool has been surprisingly weak. Five of their six losses have come at the hands of teams in the bottom half, but since then, they have proven that they can beat the best of the league and should do away with the Hornets tonight.

At bet365 Sports, Liverpool are huge favorites to win tonight at 1.53, while Watford is at 7.00. A draw could be a possibility at 4.33, but everything points to a Liverpool victory.
