A ton of action on the Premier League front with a highlight match between Chelsea vs. Tottenham Wednesday evening at 20:00 GMT.
The Blues are looking to get back into the top four of the Premier League table, but are running out of time. Tottenham currently holds onto the third spot with 60-points and it doesn't look like that will change that much, but their loss last week to Burnley was a kink in their armor. Chelsea has been so inconsistent lately that it is very difficult to predict which team will come out of the dressing room, but, with only ten matchdays left they will need to turn it into high gear.
Chelsea will need a win on home soil, but city rivals Tottenham could ruin that desire. Stamford Bridge has not been the place of times past this season, but the Blues are coming off a big win in the Europa League, but, an even bigger loss to Man. City last night in the Carabao Cup, after penalties. It was actually quite a wild night at Blues' goaltender Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to go off after his manager requested a substitution, ultimately losing the match and probably a job sometime soon.
Now, Chelsea did win the last match against the Hotspur, which was on January 21. Tottenham won the first leg of that competition, but couldn't hold on and lost on penalty shots. That match was at Stamford Bridge too, so at least the Blues have that going for them.
Tottenham will be coming in hot tonight and ready to play.
