Premier League Odds: The Derby of London Pits Chelsea Against Arsenal

The best London teams reignite rivalry on Saturday (5:30 p.m UK Time).
Chelsea and Arsenal are credited with the second chance to win the Premier League this season after Manchester United and their city rivals. So far, they are within striking distance and a victory over a main counter candidate would mean a great deal for the winning side. Arsenal has home pitch advantage and a slightly better head to head record, but Chelsea is well capable of causing an upset at Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea Undefeated on the Road
The Blues always knew how to make the most of home pitch advantage and won most of the matches played at Stamford Bridge. So far, they managed to avoid defeat on the road and extending this run against Arsenal would mean a great deal. This doesn’t mean that Chelsea will travel to their city rivals willing to settle for one point.
A defensive strategy backfired badly against Liverpool and Conte is not the kind of manager to make the same mistake twice. This time, pressure is on the home side so Chelsea can do what it knows best and score on the counterattack. Terry is the only notable absence from their starting formation, so offensively they look fine ahead of the Derby.
Arsenal Is on a Scoring Spree
The Gunners have won for the last five games and the last victories were lopsided once on the road. They managed to score 4 goals on both occasions and overall they are some of the best offensive teams in the English first division. Only Manchester City has scored more goals so far, so Arsenal fans are entitled to be optimistic ahead of this fixture.
Matches against Chelsea always feel like a coin flip and risk-averse punters would be reluctant to pick winners. Odds of 4/5 on more than 2.5 goals to be scored are tempting but they’re expected to drop. Bet365 still offers them, so do yourself a favor and seize the opportunity while it lasts.
