Premier League Preview: Man. U Vs. Southampton

Southampton has a serious triple injury scare ahead of their match with Man. U, Tuesday at 20:15 GMT.
Southampton has been the victim of a triple injury scare just before their match against Manchester United. Theo Walcott, Oriol Romeu, and Ibrahima Diallo all fell to injury in Southampton's 1-0 loss to Aston Villa over the weekend at St Mary's Stadium and they are unlikely to be able to play against the Red Devils.
Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl gave an update on the trio and said, "No, they are not okay. Theo is something a bit serious, I think. Ibra, maybe also. Ori – we don’t know.”
Southampton is already without Kyle Walker-Peters, Jannik Vestergaard, Mohammed Salisu, and Nathan Tella.
"It’s a little bit strange that it’s always they are coming back and others are injured.
“It’s a combination of the number of packed games we have at the moment, of all our circumstances.
“Also the intense way we play football – we will not change it now because we have injuries. It is like it is and we have to win the games."
United returns to the Premier League midweek action and will host the Saints at Old Trafford.
United sits in second place in the standings but has only won 2 of its last 5 matches. Southampton is back in 11th place but a win tonight would put them above Arsenal in 10th place.
In the reverse match in November, United claimed three points after a huge comeback, with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani clinched a classic 3-2 win.
