Three of the UK's biggest clubs have signed deals with online sports betting companies.
Online gambling is making its presence known in the Premier League and three major deals have been inked for the upcoming season. This gives the online sportsbooks the rights for exclusive marketing and more.
The Deals
The biggest team to sign a new deal is Liverpoo, the 2013/14 runner up. Liverpool signed a two-year deal with ComeOn, a Scandinavian online gaming platform. This fresh new partnership will give ComeOn the rights to act as the club's regional betting partner in Scandinavia. ComeOn is already one of the leading online gambling platforms in the region and with the rights to Liverpool in the area, they will be a lot bigger this year.
The second deal to be announced recently was by Hull City, the FA Cup Finalist as they have entered into the largest shirt deal in the club's history following the agreement made with 12Bet. The front of the team's shirt will dawn the 12Bet logo from the upcoming two seasons and was made due to Hull's participation in the Europa League.
The 3rd and final deal to be signed was between West Bromwich and 666Bet. The deal comes just days after the club signed a deal with bet365 Sports. The sides have yet to release all the terms of the agreement, but 666Bet will become the club's Platinum Gaming Partner in Asia. The Asian market is of the biggest in the world and could net 666Bet the revenue they have been yearning for.
