Rejoice! The NFL Regular Season Kicks-off Tonight

Sol FH. - September 8, 2016

The Panthers vs Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl 50, live tonight at 1:30 GMT.

We have been waiting and waiting but it's finally here. The start of the 2016/17 NFL regular season gets underway tonight with a rematch of Super Bowl 50. The Panthers are in Denver to take on the Broncos to kick off the new football year and sportsbooks have been flooded with bets from eager punters trying to get a first taste of NFL winnings.

Things to Watch

The Broncos and the Panthers are very much defensive-orientated teams. This is good for the Broncos with Peyton Manning retired and needing to rely on young QB Trevor Siemian to start with Paxton Lynch in second spot. It will be a huge test for the defending Super Bowl Champions to show that they are still amongst the best teams in the league. Hopefully we will get a chance to see both QB's in action and punters should expect Denver to score a couple of TD's tonight.

The Panthers have one of the best QB's in the NFL in Cam Newton. Physical, smart and able to think on the run are Newton's biggest attributes and he will need to get creative against the Broncos' defense. Newton, the reigning MVP is looking for another huge season and punters should expect him to have a big opening night.

Now that Kelvin Benjamin is back in the Panthers' offense following last season's torn ACL, the missing link in their offense should be complete.
