Moscow will be the host city of the Russian Gaming Week conference on 3rd and 4th June.
On June 3rd - 4th, the Russian Gaming Week conference will be held at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Conference center in Moscow. Following changes to local gambling laws in 2014, it promises to be an important event that will be well attended by people from across the world.
About The Conference
Exhibitors and attendees will come from countries including the CIS, the U.K. Germany, Austria, Israel, and beyond, with representatives from across the iGaming industry due to be there. This includes game developers, software companies, affiliate programmes, payment processors, investors and licensing bodies, to name just a few.
A range of speakers will present to the conference, with Yuri Fedorov, Chairman of the Russian Bookmakers Association, Michael Kharkovskyu, Founder of Crystal Soft, and Francesco Baranca, General Director of Federbet all signed up to share their wisdom and experience with the audience.
The schedule of events starts with a 'Betting Day', focused on topics like how to attract bettors, facts and trends in the market, and a look at current changes in the betting market, including a debate on legalizing online gambling in the Russian Federation.
Day two is about the online and land-based casino business, with seminars on what software to use, how to expand beyond the borders of Russia, maximising profits and details on the new Gaming Zones being set up in the country.
One of the more popular presentations is likely to be about the future of Bitcoin technology in gambling, from Ruslan Lyulko of Endorphino. The Bitcoin cryptocurrency has already changed the way many people play online, and that trend looks certain to accelerate, while Endorphine have produced the first slot machine specifically designed to be used with it.
A number of local hotels are offering preferential rates to attendees, and tickets are still available for each day. Opening hours are 10am - 6pm for the conference, and 11am - 6pm for the exhibition.
