September's Online Poker Tournaments Galore

September is shaping up to be a great month for online poker aficionados, teeming with online poker tournaments, including Golden Spade Poker Open, Poker Maximus VI and MiniFTOPS XXII. Read on to take a closer look at these three exciting events.

Golden Spade Poker Open

The Bodog Poker Network is commencing its Golden Spade Poker Open which will be running until the 3rd of November, divided into two stake tiers. With a guaranteed prize pool of $1.5 million the tournament is sure to attract many players; the tournament's champion will collect at least $60k in prize money. The Contender Series for lower stakes will begin September 21 and lock in October 6, while the Championship Series for higher buy-ins will begin October 19 and end in November 3. Games included are No Limit Texas Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha (High-Low also), Fixed Limit Omaha High-Low, Buy-ins into satellites directly start for as little as $1.75.

Poker Maximus VI

Carbon Poker, part of the Merge Gaming Network, is hosting its sixth in number Poker Maximus tournament, which began in September 8 and will end September 22. Poker Maximus VI is a tournament on a very grand scale, with a guaranteed prize pool of $3 million and over 85 events - 11 daily events. Games include No Limit Texas Hold'em, H.O.R.S.E, Pot Limit Omaha and Stud 8. Buy-ins begin as low as $1.10 - the main event offers a 530 buy-in.

MiniFTOPS XXII

Full Tilt Poker's MiniFTOPS, 22 in number, began on September 8 lasting until September 22. This is one online poker tournament to watch for, with a guaranteed prize pool of more than $3 million. The MiniFTOPS, as derived from its name, makes itself more accessible to players who look for lower stakes; buy-ins begin as little as $11, but a stake of $75 will be required from players on the tournament's final day. The tournament will consist of 39 events including Multi-Entry, Rush Poker and Double Chance tournaments. A plethora of games will be played in MiniFTOPS XXII, including Pot Limit Omaha, No Limit Texas Hold'em and 7-Stud.
