Sheriff Gaming which has recently lost its license is said to have been purchased by a mysterious company named Blue Gem Gaming.
The mystery cloud shrouding Sheriff Gaming seems to just grow larger everyday. As remembered, the license of Sheriff Gaming's parent company Bubble Group NV was suspended September 2013 when Dutch authorities raided its offices with claims of illegal activities such as money laundering, drugs, unlicensed gambling and other non-kosher acts. Following the raid, Sheriff Gaming was revoked its gaming license by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, effectively leading to seizure of all activities by the company.
Blue Gem Gaming Acquisition
It has now become known that a company known as Blue Gem Gaming has acquired Sheriff Gaming, effectively taking over the company's gaming portfolio. Blue Gem Gaming has set up a site which bore a striking resemblance to Sheriff Gaming's older website, however the site seems to have quickly went down and there is no way to access its indexed pages.
Earlier last week, an anonymous Blue Gem Gaming spokesperson released a PR message about the company's launch, stating that it was founded by the development team of Sheriff Gaming, and that popular Sheriff Gaming titles like Spartania, the Amsterdam Master Plan and Dr. Magoo's Adventures will be a part of its gaming portfolio, which will also contain brand new games.
Does Blue Gem Gaming Exist?
With the current state of things, it is still unclear whether Blue Gem Gaming even exists. It has a registered website with some inaccessible indexed pages, it has released a message about its launch last week and that's about it. It seems that there is much more than meets the eye with Blue Gem Gaming. We will continue to bring news on this puzzling affair as they come.
