Another successful iGaming conference from Malta, the island for online gambling operation.
The second edition of the iGaming Summit in Malta concluded on November 7 and attendees are already excited for the next one. SiGMA is one of the most fun iGaming summit's to attend, and this year was definitely no exception. In comparison to last year, the summit grew by almost double it's 2014 size, and everyone including Malta’s Secretary of Competitiveness and Economic Growth praised new interest in Malta's iGaming industry. There were operators, software developers, government representatives, affiliates, online cyber security companies and many more.
Some of the booths at SiGMA 2015 were of the most recognizable brands in the business including 888Casino, Betsson, Casumo, Euro Slots, LeoVegas, Mr Green and so many more familiar names. iGaming developers like NetEnt, whom announced that their highly-anticipated new video slot Guns & Roses would be released in January 2016 had the summit participants on their feet and in love with the hard rocking new game.
Many new companies were also present at SiGMA giving participants a look into new tech and forward thinking.
Every niche of the online gambling industry was represented at this summit. Delegates were all business in the morning and early afternoon, but in true Malta style, they began to let their hair down around 15:00 each day in preparation for the fun activities held in the evening and into the night.
The booths this year were all much more elaborate and were a big part of this year's success. The venue, the InterContinental Bay Arena was the perfect spot for professional meetings and networking, with the beautiful coastline that Malta is famous for, providing a stellar backdrop to the festivities.
Next year's SiGMA summit is already in the works, and if this years' success is any indicator to what next years' summit will look like, one wouldn't want to miss the 2016 edition.
