SiGMA 2016, taking place in Malta between November 16 - 19, will see more than 3,000 visitors gather in the island country for one of the largest iGaming shows.
SiGMA (Summit of iGaming) 2016 is one of the largest iGaming gatherings, taking place in Malta between November 16 - 19. The Summit will gather more than 3,000 participants from different segments of the industry, including expert speakers and more than 100 exhibitors.
'Silicon Valley' of iGaming Industry
Denis Dhyr-Hansen and Eman Pulis, SiGMA founders, have dubbed Malta the Silicon Valley of the iGaming industry. The island country offers a unique space where online gaming companies can freely develop and thrive with a full support from the government and other related entities like Lotteries and Gaming Authority and the Malta Financial Services Authority.
Right now, there are more than 300 iGaming companies operating from Malta, with many more considering relocation. The country offers everything such a company could expect, from the supporting and encouraging laws to required infrastructure including numerous office buildings.
With more than 9,000 people already employed in the iGaming sector and the number expected to grow exponentially, it is clear that the industry plays an important role for the economy of Malta. What to Expect from SiGMA 2016
