Six Nations campaign kicks off this week, and William Hill brings you all the odds.
The 2013 Six Nations Championship returns this weekend, and William Hill Sports brings you all the odds on which country will earn the annual title of rugby champs of the northern hemisphere.
Battle of Six
Wales head into the tournament as defending champions following their surprising Grand Slam unbeaten run in 2012. However, they may have a hard time defending their title against the usual contenders from both England and France, as well as a much strengthened Irish team.
This year's championship appears fairly open, and therefore should provide plenty of interest from a sports betting perspective. It is also worth noting that players from the four home nations will be looking to impress selectors ahead of the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia later in the year.
William Hill Betting
William Hill is currently offering the following odds in the race for Six Nations Championship title winner: France is the outright 15/8 favorite, followed by England, 2/1, Wales, 4/1, Ireland, 9/2, and then the two outsiders - Scotland, 25/1, and Italy, a lengthy 100/1.
Hill is also offering separate odds on each team's chances of recording a Grand Slam (England, 5/1, France, 11/2, Ireland, 9/1, and Wales, 12/1), plus separate odds on the number of victories each nation records, and match betting and handicaps on games for the opening weekend and subsequent matches.
