There are 12 animals in the Chinese Zodiac, with each featuring once in the 12-year cycle. To honour the 2018 Chinese New Year, NextGen Gaming embraced the Year of the Dog as the principal theme for the Wonder Hounds slot. Design
Although Wonder Hounds has drawn inspiration from the Year of the Dog, the slot is quite low on Chinese imagery.
