Organizers of the conference announced Monday that Noel Hayden, CEO of Gamesys, will be joining the elite lineup of speakers. Gamesys and Facebook announced in August that they would collaborate to open real-money gaming in the UK. Gamesys' Bingo Friendzy became Facebook's first real-money gaming app.
Hayden was confirmed less than a week after the confirmation that speakers would include representatives from leading social gaming organisations and developers such as: Enteraction, Social Gaming Association, Product Madness, and iGaming Capital.
When and where
The Social Gambling Conference, which is being organised by iGaming Business in conjunction with media partners that include Online Casino Reports, will take place at London's Dexter House on November 2012.
Registration for the event is still open, but you'd better hurry. The schedule includes leading speakers, interesting panels, and opportunities to network with fellow professionals from across the social gambling and online gaming industries.
First of its kind
This conference is the first of its kind, and signals the growing importance of the social games industry in the past year. iGB has said it wanted to invite the experts to provide insight into their success in the social gaming space, and that they have certainly achieved.
The Social Gambling Conference is open to all people and companies interested in social games, online gambling, and the intersection and opportunities between the two, including investors, suppliers, developers and operators.
