Scientific Games Acquires Authentic Gaming to Kickstart Live Gaming Capabilities

Scientific Games jumps into the live dealer gaming market after the successful acquisition of Authentic Gaming.
Live dealer gaming is becoming one of the most popular ways to play at an online casino and until now, Scientific Games did not have the live capabilities. Well, they've kickstarted their live dealer offering after a successful acquisition of Authentic Gaming. The deal will give Scientific Games the ability to develop live dealer products to be supplied to players all over the world. This is a major part of Scientific's growth strategy, wherein a major part of it is expanding into the North American market and new game capabilities.
Acquisitions Making an Impact
Back in August, Scientific acquired Lightning Box studio, which diversified its portfolio.
Europe has always been the main focus of Authentic Games, as the studio supplied casino products to operators like Betway, Entain and Mr Green.

Lottery games were a small part of Scientific Games' portfolio but they sold that business vertical to Brookfield Business Partners in a $6.05bn agreement. Sports betting also got the chop as the OpenBet platform was sold to Endeavor back in September.
