Spanish La Liga Betting: Barcelona vs. Deportivo

Barcelona takes on Deportivo La Coruna in the final gameweek of the La Liga season (17:30 UK time).

The Camp Nou stadium at Barcelona is the venue for today's match between the home team and Deportivo La Coruna in the Spanish La Liga (kickoff 17:30 UK time). While the game is pretty much insignificant for Barcelona, there's a lot at stake for Deportivo given their close proximity to the relegation zone.

Barcelona's Finishing Touches

With the title race over after Barcelona secured the championship in Sunday's 0-1 over reigning La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, the Catalans will look to widen the gap from Real Madrid at the top and prepare for next weekend's Copa Del Rey final against Atletic Bilbao.

While Barcelona doesn't need to push itself too much in this game, the team will look to put the finishing touch to its season with a win. Rotations would probably see Neymar and Suarez resting, though not Lionel Messi who has proved to be essential in every single game. Messi is always a good candidate for goalscorer bets, especially today.

Survival for Deportivo

Deportivo couldn't receive a harder game for the final gameweek. Positioned fourth from the bottom of the table with 34 points, the team is only two points away from Eibar and Almeria. If Deportivo loses, which is the very likely case, they will have to pray that none of the teams win their games – Eibar goes against Cordoba and Almeria goes up against Valencia.

The team could also do with a draw, provided the two others don't win – but that is a hard task against Barcelona. The statistics do not work in favor of Deportivo, as Barca maintains a steady unbeaten run against them at Camp Nou.
