US sports betters can join the conversation with the launch of Fanatix mobile app.
Once upon a time sports fans got involved in the game by shouting at the television screen, maybe shouting at each other and then shouting at the television screen again. Today, sports chat has simply exploded with the rise of "two-screen experience": live, online conversations with the widest possible sporting community.
As of Tuesday 30th October, US sports fans have been able to get closer to the action via the new, free iOS application Fanatix. This is first and foremost a social app and personalised content aggregator, customised for sports fans: Imagine your NBA team's Youtube channel, Instagram, Twitter, blog, Facebook feeds, live scores and statistics all collected in one place for you and a crowds of sports nuts giving their two-cents' worth and chatting around the clock.
Fanatix comes to the US from over the pond in the UK, where it was launched in October 2011. Needless to say, its user-base shot up this summer over the London Olympics and its arrival in the US chimes nicely with the start of the MLB World Series, NFL midseason mark and the new NBA season. Fanatix is currently available on iOS but anticipated to launch as an Android app in the near future.
Sports betting has never been more interactive or more social. So whether you're a Premier League, NBA, or WGC kind of person, your betting experience has just become even more immersive.
