The iGaming Super Show 2017 came off with flying colours, and perhaps no one had more fun than Online Casino Reports!

Networking Extravaganza

All who attended had the opportunity to meet friends old and new, with OCR getting in on the networking action as while covering the event from the 11th to the 14th of July at RAI Amsterdam.   

Diversified Highlights

The one stop iGaming Super Show had no shortage of highlights, with each session looking like a marquee event for different sectors of the thousands of iGaming professionals in attendance across eight streams including dedicated payments, lottery, regulation and compliance, sports betting, financial and affiliate events,

Amazing Grimm News

A major hit was Peak Ace founder and director of organic search Bastian Grimm’s revelation that 60% of all internet searches take place on a mobile or tablet device affiliates, with reference to Google’s intention to introduce mobile first indexing, roughly expected to take effect in 2018 and replace desktop indexing completely and permanently.      

Incoming: Mobile Indexing!

Within a year Google will be categorising searches, results, and page loading analytics according to mobile use, with Grimm reminding affiliates that “47% of people will leave a site if not served in two seconds.” 

Action All Over

Meanwhile, in another area iGaming Business editorial contributor Scott Langley was providing vital new sports betting insights at the SBC Betting Forum, and Oddschecker’s Guy Harding shed insight on the extent to which punters are price sensitive.

Embedded Forum

Global Lottery Messenger Forum conference was held within the conference to provide a wealth of new light on ethical and resilient models for lottery messengers and lottery betting officials at a lovely evening event as well.

Night Rolled On...

Night activities were further highlighted by an opening night networking party sponsored by UPayCard where fellow delegates could make the best connections before letting off steam on the opulent dance floor!

OCR at Full Effect

Against the entirety of the dizzying conference activity, OCR had the opportunity to among other things meet Japanese-themed gaming software Ganapati, Spigo, Boss Gaming Studio and R. Franco Games.

Upon Final Review

It will take months to sort out all the ramifications and partnerships that will come of the iGaming Super Show, but all attendees will be feeling the positive effects and good vibes for months if not years to come, OCR included!
