SiGMA Conference Promises to Break New iGaming Ground

A new type of iGaming Summit is evolving in Malta, with the latest edition of SiGMA to be revealed starting today (October 30th) and taking place until November 2nd. Rapidly becoming one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to Remote Gaming, with over 2,000+ delegates, more than 60 top-level speakers and upwards of 70 exhibitors.

Malta Appeal

Malta is an interesting location, reflecting the flexibility of a gambling market that can be shaped to adapt to the needs of the new iGaming global environment. With close proximity to a multitude of economic environments via the African, European and Asian continents, many companies have taken advantage of the unique benefits that Malta offers, hosting over 250 iGaming companies with 450 licenses and many more companies awaiting further regulation.

The five star, state-of-the-art exhibition space for interactive gaming suppliers is designed to attract more affiliates and marketing partners, and the networking opportunities should not be underestimated.

Wide Range of Speakers

Neither should the key speakers, for that matter. The audience is the long list of industry professionals, from affiliates to operators to regulators to vendors.

One key speaker will be Joseph Borg, senior advisor to WH Partner, a law firm versed in Gaming, Corporate, IT, Telecoms and Intellectual Property Law. Borg will provide his insights as a lecturer on Gaming Law at the University of Malta, and former Chief Regulatory Officer of the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority.

Another is Maltese Parliament member Silvio Schembri, the chairman of the Responsible Gaming Foundation. Schembri will provide his insights on educating, assisting and preventing the negative effects of gambling.

To round out the speakers of interest, Malta's Legal Affairs Managers for the Gaming Authority (LGA) will share his insights on legal matters related to licensing and continued compliance of the LGA’s licensees.
