Zitro is expanding as an organisation in parallel to Argentina's expansion.
Buenos Aires City jurisdiction is expanding its licensees by recognising online casino operator Zitro.
The New Licence
Lottery authority Lotería de la ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA) has awarded an online casino that will make Zitro’s titles among the first licenced online casino licences available to players ever in the city of Buenos Aires jurisdiction.
Zitro's Expansion
This is a key step in Zitro's expansion as well, adding to licenses they already hold in major iGaming jurisdictions including France and Malta.
Zitro Spokesperson Comments
Zitro commercial director for Latin America Alejandra Burato called Buenos Aires' online gambling market “one of the online gambling markets with the greatest potential not only in Argentina but also in Latin America.”
Zitro's Strategy
Burato celebrated the positioning that his organisation as a gaming provider now enjoys in this attractive market, with Zitro games to be available in all licensed casinos in the Argentine capital.
Suppliers Coming in to BA
Zitro is actually the second supplier to be granted access to the Buenos Aires market of some 17 million people, after supplier Play’n Go were approved for a license within the city earlier this month, with Zitro ostensibly offering games directly as well as available to supply to other incoming licencees.
Play n'Go
Supplier Play’n Go received licencure from the Lotería de la ciudad de Buenos Aires (LOTBA), to provide online slot games to incoming operators licensed Buenos Aires.
Play n'Go's Expansion
The Play'n Go acceptance was a big step towards expanding operations in Argentina, as Play'n Go already has a licence to operate in the province of Buenos Aires. All of Play'n Go's vast stable of partner clients can now expand their brands into Buenos Aires as well.
Earlier Slot Licence
One earlier license was granted to Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) and Argentinean gaming and entertainment operator Grupo Slot: a new gaming platform under the company’s new online casino and sports betting brand, Jugadon.bet.
Buenos Regulation History
Buenos Aires City published its licensing criteria last February, with an original timeline of launching the market in Q4 2020.
Outlook
Look for far more stratification in the adaption process across each unique jurisdiction, while expecting a rapid uptick in offerings in the Buenos Aires city jurisdiction—with new licencees in possession of vast networks of branded operator clients.
