Novak Djokovich, world No. 1 was ousted from the tournament by Stan Wawrinka, after Djokovich retired in the third set. With the Serbian star out of the competition, things could get interesting for the rest of the players in the field.

In their last match, Andrey Rublev beat Matteo Berrettini. Rublev made it to the Quarterfinals after beating Nick Kyrgios. The Aussie, who is being considered for suspension, hammered out 31 aces, but Rublev was able to fight through to win. The match against the Italian Berrettini will be an excellent chance for him to make the Quarterfinals.

Sept. 2, 18:30 GMT - A. Zverev vs. D. Schwartzman
Zverev, world No. 6, has made things as hard for himself as possible at the US Open after taking his first two matches five-sets matches, and, losing a set to Aljaz Bedene in the third round. Diego Schwartzman has been playing excellent tennis and has not dropped a set so far in the competition. He destroyed Robin Haase, Egor Gerasimov, and Tennys Sandgren. Either player could win the match this evening, and the odds tell the same story.

Sept. 2, 22:00 GMT - G. Monfils vs. P. Andujar
Gael Monfils is one of the most electrifying players on the ATP. Currently ranked No. 13, Monfils has not lost at the Round of 16 since 2009, and, he hopes to be able to take his campaign even further. Andujar is a surprise to the Round of 16. He was able to down Alexander Bublik in the third round to get here, but, to think he could make it to the next round is a stretch.

Sept. 3, 00:00 GMT - M. Cilic vs. R. Nadal
This is the match that tennis fans over the world will be keen to watch. Nadal, World No. 2 is taking on Marin Cilic (World No. 22), in Flushing Meadows, NY for a chance to make the Quarterfinals. Cilic is obviously no slouch, and, taking it to John Isner in the third round was just an example of what he can do when he is on his game. Nadal has the chance to take it too the limit, and seriously threaten for yet another US Open crown.
