Thai Police Fail to Find Promised Land

Earlier this week, a team led by a high-ranking Thai police official raided a commercial building believed to be concealing the famed strip-poker den, but alas they found nothing apart from a cold drink freezer and several closed-circuit television cameras. No gambling equipment was found on the premises.

Information obtained earlier by police, including photographs circulated over the internet, suggested the building might have been used as an underground casino in which topless girls waited on punters. However, following the failed raid, investigators said the building might have been used especially over the New Year's holiday and then closed afterwards.
