The Champions League Race Intensifies on Sunday across Europe

Manchester City and PSG expect easy wins away from home, while Liverpool play a key match against Chelsea in the race for the Premier League trophy.
The best European football clubs gear up for the Champions League semifinals, while many more prepare for the next season of the flagship European competition. In the English, French and Spanish divisions, the race continues unabated with matches of extraordinary importance being scheduled this Sunday. Most of the favorites play on the road, which makes these key games look like perfect coin flips.
No Time to Rest for Premier League Giants
Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all played important matches midweek in the Champions League and Europa League. There is no time to rest though, because they are all chasing major objectives and the race is too close to call. Manchester United play the opening match on the road at Everton, where they get odds of 13/10 at bet365 Sports. They’ve had a difficult game in Barcelona and take on a team comfortable with its current placement, so it’s not surprising that the hosts get odds of 16/5 to win.
Liverpool are overwhelming favorites away from home against Cardiff and receive odds of 1/4 at Winner Sports, as opposed to 13/1 for the home side. The hosts are desperate to win, as they are likely to relegate, but they have a snowflakes chance in hell. Crystal Palace has better chances even though the team plays on the road against Arsenal. The Gunners should be able to claim the much-needed victory at home and odds of 3/5 are quite tempting since they can’t settle for a draw. Both games take place at 4 PM UK time.
PSG, Lille and St. Etienne Wrap up a Stellar Season in Ligue 1
In the French first division, only St. Etienne have something concrete to fight for this Saturday. They chase an elusive Champions League place on the road against Reims, who are also hoping to play in the Europa League next season. The hosts are actually favorites at 3/2, compared to 21/10 on the visiting team. Lille could settle for one point towards Toulouse who lack motivation after successfully avoiding relegation. PSG are also likely to win the hollow derby against Monaco and 888 Sport prices them at 1/2.
Unlikely Derbies Turn La Liga into a Volcano on Sunday
Sevilla and Getafe are separated by a single point and the team winning this match scheduled at 1 PM UK time will claim solitary fourth place. Sevilla play on the road, but they are still favorites at Intertops who offers odds of 12/5, while pricing the home side at 2/1. Valencia are lurking behind and if they manage to win the coin flip game against Betis, they will stay within striking distance of the fourth place. They play the last match of the day at 7:45 PM and get identical odds of 13/10 to emerge victoriously.
