The Republic of Cyprus capital Limassol will play a host to the first-ever gaming show to take place in this country. The news was confirmed today in the press release sent by Eventus International, the company in charge of the Cyprus Gaming Show taking place on September 12 - 13, 2017.
Crucial Strategic Location
Eventus International, the company based in Hong Kong and South Africa, decided to host the first Cyprus Gaming Show primarily because of the country's strategic location between Europe and South Africa. On top of that, Cyprus is also in the proximity of the rapidly-developing Middle East.
The show has the full support of the Cyprus National Betting Authority, and in the coming weeks and days, Eventus International plans on implementing the necessary steps to secure the support from other relevant bodies like the National Gaming and Casino Supervision Commission.
Improved Climate for Potential Investors
Apart from its strategic location, the decision to host the Cyprus Gaming Show came because of the changing investment climate in Cyprus. The country has a lot to offer to potential investors, including technology and infrastructure for doing business. Furthermore, regulatory changes concerning land based casinos have created opportunities for building multi-purpose venues, providing fully-encompassing packages including accommodation, gambling, and other forms of entertainment.
