The Last Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga Matches Scheduled for This Weekend

An incredible season of French, Spanish and Italian football concludes this weekend, with key matches scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday are scheduled the last matches in major European football championships. Action begins on Saturday, with Ligue 1 games and continues on Sunday when Serie A and La Liga. In the Spanish championship, only the final placement is yet to be decided, as we know the champions and relegated teams. Italian and French teams however, play for a place in the first division or for a chance to continue their adventure in European competitions.
Champions League Places In Play in Ligue 1
Marseille won just one point on the road at Guingamp, but remains in the race for a Champions League berth. That’s because Lyon failed miserably against Strasbourg and everything will be decided the final match. Monaco has better goal average than Lyon and a two-point advantage, so it can settle for one point against Troyes. 10bet Sportsbook credit them with the first chance and odds of 7/10 to win on the road. The hosts however are highly motivated because they need victory to avoid relegation.
Marseille plays at home against Amiens who has secured its objective for the season and lacks motivation. Lyon welcomes Nice at the stadium that has recently hosted the Europa League final. The visitors won’t give up without a fight, mostly because of their rivalry with Lyon. They are also actively involved in a Europa League place and need three points to be certain of success. Punters can find decent odds of ½ on a home win at 888 Sport and even better if they bet on more than 2.5 goals to be scored.
All Eyes on Sevilla Teams this Weekend
Barcelona has won the championship, Atletico Madrid wrapped up the second place, with Real Madrid and Valencia securing Champions League positions. All except for Real Madrid play at home against equally unmotivated teams and are expected to pick up all three points. Because of these circumstances, punters who place an accumulator bet on these three teams enjoy combined odds of 13/10. Real Madrid is in for a more serious test against Villarreal who needs victory to consolidate its fifth place.
They are tied with Betis for this position and both are guaranteed to play in the Europa League groups. Villarreal will have a hard time defeating Real Madrid, even though Cristiano Ronaldo is not expected to play in this match. The visitors are far more concerned about having all their players fit to play in the Champions League final. Punters can take advantage of odds of nearly 2/1 with 888 Sport on the home side. Betis will risk everything for a victory away at Leganes, while Sevilla will be more prudent at home against Alaves. They only need one point to stay ahead of Getafe who play on the road in Malaga.
Everything on the Line for Serie A Teams
Half a dozen Italian teams are still putting their hopes on the outcome of the final round of Serie A. AS Roma and Napoli are certain of their Champions League presence, but Lazio is still fighting. They will play against Inter Milan in a match they can’t afford to lose. Home pitch advantage and superior form justify a double chance on the Romans. 888 Sport only offers odds of 1/2 on this outcome, but under these circumstances, it represents value nonetheless.
Atalanta needs victory over Cagliari and hope that AC Milan will falter against Fiorentina. The Sards will throw everything they’ve got in this match, but a draw could also save them from relegation. They are engaged with Crotone in this race and they have a narrow advantage. The latter play on the road against Napoli and bookmakers credit them with low chances to win. Chievo picked up all three points last weekend, and have an excellent chance against rock-bottom Benevento.
