Using everything from graphically driven simulators to video tutorials to final table play-by-plays, the WPT Academy helps land based and players at the online casinos to get into the heads of poker's top players. The Academy also provides users with a busy interactive community, where players and potential players can learn, ask questions, and get to know each other. Advertised as "the world's most comprehensive online poker education center," the Academy aims to deliver a great amount of knowledge that could previously only come from poker camps or one-on-one instruction.
Now in its fourth season of broadcast, the World Poker Tour still remains among the highest rated television programs on cable. The first three seasons of WPT are available on DVD and the second season DVD set features audio commentary by several of the players. The third season is only available in a "Best Of" format, featuring just half of the episodes.
